Terms of Use
Last updated
By using this site you accept these terms. They are short on purpose.
What the site is
Curio publishes retellings of documented events across history, science, film, culture and everyday life. Every article names the source it was built from. Articles are written to be accurate and are corrected when they are not — but they are general-interest reading, not professional, medical, legal or financial advice, and should not be relied on as such.
Accuracy and corrections
We check claims against independent sources and mark anything that could not be confirmed as unconfirmed in the text rather than asserting it. If you find an error, write to [email protected] with the article link. We correct the article and update its modification date. See our Editorial Policy for how this works.
Using our content
Articles and original images on this site belong to Curio. You may quote a reasonable extract with a visible link back. You may not republish whole articles, and you may not present our work as your own. For anything beyond a quote, ask: [email protected].
Third-party material
Cover photographs are licensed stock imagery or public-domain material, credited beneath the image where a credit is required. Rights in that material stay with their owners. If you believe something here infringes your rights, write to [email protected] identifying the material and your claim, and we will act promptly.
Comments
Comments are welcome and moderated. We remove anything unlawful, abusive, or posted to advertise something. You keep ownership of what you write, and by posting you allow us to display it here.
Availability and liability
We try to keep the site available and correct but we do not guarantee either. To the extent the law allows, Curio is not liable for loss arising from use of this site or reliance on its content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of RS.
